Website Product Stock For Enterprise
Website Product Stock provides flexible website inventory visibility and purchasing control for online stores. The module displays real-time In Stock, Out of Stock, and Limited Stock statuses with configurable messages, colors, and available quantities across shop and product pages, while allowing businesses to calculate availability from all stock or a specific stock location. Website-level settings can be reused or overridden for individual products, and the Deny Order option prevents customers from purchasing quantities greater than the configured available stock, creating a clearer and more controlled online shopping experience.
Features
Website Product Stock Master Control
Enable or disable the complete Website Product Stock functionality from the centralized INKERP settings. When disabled, website stock messages, quantity displays, custom statuses, and ordering restrictions remain inactive. This provides administrators with one simple control for managing the entire feature set.
Website-Specific Stock Configuration
Configure stock behavior independently from the Website settings according to the requirements of each online storefront. Each website can use its own stock location, messages, colors, limited-stock rules, quantity display preference, and order restriction setting.
Flexible Stock Location Selection
Choose whether website availability should be calculated using all available stock or a specific internal stock location. When a specific location is selected, businesses can control which inventory source is used for customer-facing availability.
Available Quantity Display
Display the calculated available quantity alongside the stock status on website product pages when required. Customers can see the exact number of units available before selecting their desired purchase quantity. The quantity display can also be disabled when businesses prefer to show only the stock status message.
Deny Orders Above Available Stock
Enable Deny Order to prevent customers from ordering quantities greater than the calculated available inventory. The website validates quantity changes and automatically limits the cart to the quantity that can actually be supplied. Customers receive a clear warning when their requested quantity exceeds the available stock.
Product-Specific Stock Overrides
Individual storable products can override the website's default stock configuration when they require different availability rules. Product settings can define their own location, stock type, messages, colors, limited-stock threshold, quantity visibility, and Deny Order behavior.
