Professional Smart Warning & Alert Banner Management
Smart Alerts / Warnings helps administrators create meaningful alert banners on business documents such as sales orders, invoices, purchases, partners, products, and other records. The app allows users to configure alert rules based on model, domain conditions, user groups, companies, and dynamic record values. It is useful for showing important reminders, approval notes, risk messages, validation guidance, and business warnings directly on the form view, helping users take the right action before confirming or processing records.
Features
Conditional Smart Alert Rules
Create alert rules for any selected model and control when the message should appear using domain conditions. This helps businesses display alerts only on matching records, such as high-value sales orders, unpaid invoices, risky customers, or special approval cases.
Multiple Alert Types
The app supports different alert styles such as Warning, Danger, Success, Info, and Announcement. Each alert type uses a clear visual style, making it easy for users to understand the importance of the message at a glance.
Dynamic Message Content
Alert messages can include dynamic record values like customer name, document number, total amount, salesperson, or any available object field. This makes each warning more useful because the message changes based on the current document.
Group and Company-Based Visibility
Administrators can restrict alerts for specific user groups and companies. This ensures that only the right users see important business messages, while keeping the interface clean for users who do not need those alerts.

1.) Enable Smart Alerts from Settings
The configuration page includes a dedicated Smart Alerts / Warnings option under the INKERP settings section. Administrators can enable or disable the smart alert feature from one place, making it easy to control whether alert banners should appear across the system.
2.) Assign Smart Alerts Admin Access
User access can be managed from the user profile using the Smart Alerts Admin permission. This allows only authorized users to create, update, and manage warning rules, helping businesses keep alert configuration secure and controlled.
3.) Smart Alerts Menu and Alert Rules
The Smart Alerts app menu provides direct access to alert rules. Users with proper rights can open the Alert Rules menu, view configured warnings, and create new alert records for different business documents.
4.) Configure Rule Conditions with Domain
The alert rule form allows administrators to select the target model and define domain conditions. In this example, the warning is configured for sales orders where the untaxed amount is greater than a defined value, so the alert appears only when the business condition is matched.
5.) Add Dynamic Alert Content
The Alert Content tab lets users set the alert title and message text. Dynamic placeholders such as {{ object.name }} and {{ object.amount_total }} can be used to display record-specific information directly inside the warning banner.
6.) Smart Alerts on Sales Order Form
Configured alert banners appear directly on the sales order form below the action buttons and status bar. Users can quickly notice warning and danger messages before confirming or processing the order, helping reduce mistakes and improve approval control.
