Product Restriction on Customer
Product Restriction on Customer helps businesses control which products are available for each customer during quotation and sales order creation. Authorized users can assign a specific list of allowed products directly from the customer profile, and sales users will then see only those products when selecting items on an order for that customer. The module also includes a dedicated Product Restriction access right, ensuring that only permitted users can view and manage customer-specific product assignments. This makes product selection more accurate, prevents users from choosing unauthorized items, and supports businesses that maintain different product catalogs for different customers.

Customer-Specific Product Assignment
Assign a dedicated list of allowed products directly from each customer profile. Once products are configured for a customer, the module automatically uses that list during quotation and sales order creation, making it easier to maintain different product catalogs for different customers.
Restricted Product Selection in Sales Orders
When a customer has assigned products, sales users can select only those products from the quotation or sales order lines. Unassigned products are automatically excluded from the product selection, helping prevent incorrect product selection without displaying unnecessary validation errors.

1.) Configure Product Restriction Access Rights
Administrators can grant the Product Restriction access right to selected users who are responsible for managing customer-specific product assignments. Only users with this permission can view and manage the Allowed Products field on customer profiles, keeping product restriction configuration secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
Navigation : Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users -> Select User -> Access Rights -> Extra Rights
2.) Assign Allowed Products to a Customer
Authorized users can define the products available for a specific customer directly from the customer profile. The Allowed Products field supports multiple product assignments, allowing businesses to maintain a customer-specific product catalog that is automatically applied when creating quotations and sales orders for that customer.

3.) Display Only Assigned Products on Sales Orders
When a customer with configured product restrictions is selected on a quotation or sales order, the Product field displays only the products assigned to that customer. Products that are not included in the customer’s allowed product list remain hidden from the product selection, helping sales users select only authorized products without displaying any restriction errors.
Note :- Customer with no assigned product can access all products.
