Product Mass Category Update
Mass Category Update helps users change product categories for several products at the same time. It supports both the internal product category and the public categories used on the eCommerce website. Users can select the required products from the list view, choose the appropriate bulk action, and apply the new categories in one step. This reduces repetitive editing and keeps large product catalogues properly organized.
Features
Bulk Internal Category Update
Select several products and assign one internal product category to all of them in a single action. This avoids opening and editing each product separately.
Bulk Public Category Update :
Website public categories can also be updated for multiple products together. This makes it easier to reorganize products displayed in the online shop.
Configurable Feature Access
Administrators can enable or disable Mass Category Update from General Settings. When disabled, the bulk update actions are removed from the product list.

1.) Enable Mass Category Update :
Activate Mass Category Update from the INKERP section in General Settings. Once saved, the internal and public category update options become available in the product list. By default this is enable when the module is install, but this can be disable as per need. Disable Mass Category Update is responsible to terminate functionality of the module until enable.
Navigation : Settings → INKERP
2.) Open the Product Catalogue :
Access the complete product catalogue. Switch to the list view when selecting and updating several products together
Navigation : Website → eCommerce → Products
3.) Choose Product Category Update :
Select the products that require the same internal category, open the Actions menu, and choose Product Category Update. The selected records will be included in the bulk operation.
4.) Select the New Internal Category :
Choose the required category from the Bulk Product Category Update window and click Update. The chosen category will replace the current internal category on every selected product.
5.) Confirm the Updated Product Category :
The new category appears immediately on the product form after the update. In this example, the Warranty product has been moved from the Services category to Deliveries.
6.) Choose Product Public Category Update :
Select the products that should appear under the same website categories, then choose Product Public Category Update from the Actions menu.
7.) Assign Website Categories in Bulk :
Add one or more public categories in the bulk update window and click Update. All selected products will receive the same set of website categories.
8.) Verify the Public Categories :
The assigned categories are visible in the product’s Sales tab under the eCommerce Shop section. The product can now appear in each selected category on the online store.
