Product Dimension and Measurement

Add Variable Height and Width as Product Dimension
This feature allows users to input customizable height and width values for products directly on sales, purchase, and manufacturing orders. It provides the flexibility to handle products of various sizes and dimensions, especially for industries like signage, printing, and custom manufacturing.
Calculates Product UOM (m²) Based on Height and Width
The module automatically calculates the product's unit of measure (UOM) in square meters (m²) by using the provided height and width measurements. This automation simplifies the pricing process by directly linking the product's dimensions to its pricing model.

Option 1: Calculation Based on Dimensions (m²)Users select this option in User Settings to calculate the net price based on the formula: Unit Price * Quantity * Area (m²) 1.) User Settings: Price Calculation Based on Dimensions (m²)
Users can enable the "Price Calculation based on Dimension (m²)" option from the user settings to calculate the net price using the formula: Unit Price * Quantity * Area (m²).
Navigation : Sales → Configuration → Settings
2.) Product Dimension Sale: Adding Height and Width
While creating a quotation, users can add the product's height (m) and width (m) in the order line. The default selection will be "Sale Price for (m²)."

3.) Generated Order Display
The generated order will display the product's height (m), width (m), area (m²), and net price.
4.) Product Dimension on Invoice
When an invoice is created from a sales order, the same height (m) and width (m) will transfer to the invoice line.
Navigation : Invoicing → Customers → Invoices
5.) Generated Invoice Display
The generated invoice will show the product's height (m), width (m), area (m²), and net price.
6.) Product Dimension on Purchase
In a purchase order, users can add the product's height (m) and width (m). Pricing will be calculated based on the area (m²) and will apply automatically upon order confirmation.

7.) Purchase Order Display
Users can see the height (m), width (m), area (m²), and net price of the product displayed on the purchase order and also for the request for quotation.
8.) Product Dimension on Vendor Bill
When a supplier bill is created from the purchase order, the same height (m) and width (m) will be passed to the bill line for the product.

9.) Generated Bill Display
Users can see the height (m), width (m), area (m²), and net price of the product displayed on the generated bill.
10.) Product Dimension on Manufacturing
When a manufacturing order is created, the production user can add the main product's height (m) and width (m). The price will be calculated based on the area (m²), applying automatically when the manufacturing order is confirmed.

Users can see the height (m), width (m), and area (m²) displayed on the production order.
Option 2: Price Calculation Based on QuantityUsers can switch to price calculation based on quantity in User Settings, allowing automatic calculation of the area (m²) based on the dimensions provided. 12.) User Settings: Price Calculation Based on Quantity
Users must select the "Price Calculation based on Qty" option under settings to enable pricing based on product quantity.

While creating a quotation, the salesperson can add the product's height (m) and width (m) in the order line. The area (m²) will be automatically calculated based on these dimensions.

15.) Product Dimension on Invoice
When an invoice is created from the sales order, the same height (m) and width (m) will be passed to the invoice line for the product. The billing user can also add these dimensions, and the area (m²) will be automatically calculated.
